About Those Cutco Sewing Scissors

28 Jan

Please don’t email me about these scissors. I do not own them and no longer have the contact for the person selling them.

Remember a few months ago I posted about my desire for pretty (and now discontinued)  Cutco sewing scissors? I didn’t get them. But, I did get an email from Phil who was a Cutco sales rep. He’s got the sewing shears, embroidery scissors and a very rare pair of buttonhole scissors from Cutco.

As lovely as they are, they are too prized and valued for my blood. Girl has gotta stay in glasses and fabric, right? But, they might be just right for one of you. If you are interested in them, leave a comment and I’ll send you the price and his contact information. His asking price isn’t very high, considering, but  just more than I can swing right now.

Hmmm, I didn’t ask if he had the bent handled shears too.

Please don’t email me about these scissors. I do not own them and no longer have the contact for the person selling them.

I love love love my Cutco knives (I only have the steak knives, but they are the best). I don’t know how the sewing shears are; I’m sure they are great. But the shears with which I am in total love are my Kai shears. I have several sets. They aren’t cheap, but they are a good deal less expensive than the Cutco. And I think they are worth every dime.

I have a pair of button hole scissors. I’ll have to check who made them. They are the bomb.

Those are pretty scissors, but I am about to buy some more Pucci fabric, so I probably can’t swing them either.

Oh, I would LOVE to have some buttonhole scissors, and since I have a b-day coming up next week, think I might treat myself :)

If you would be so kind as to forward me the pricing and contact information?

    Thanks very much!

I have to be honest I didn’t realise that cutco even sold scissors for sewing. I knew they sold them for the Kitchen. What a great find :) .

    Thanks!

    Hi

I am very intersted in the embroidery, sewing and bent shears if available. If Phil the cutco sales rep no longer has them maybe he might know of another sales rep who might. If you would be so kind as to forward Phil’s contact information. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.

I have a pair of the blue handle scissors that have never been used. I used to sell Cutco from 2001-2004 and loved selling these scissors. If anyone is interested let me know. These are antiques now as they are not being made by Cutco anymore. If you are interested send me an offer and I will definitely sell them.
