Sneak Peek…

13 Apr

Here’s a glance at tomorrow’s review, BWOF April 2007, #114. Tentatively  and affectionately titled: Bordering on the Ridiculous:

And, here are the patterns I picked up at the $0.99 Simplicity sale at Joann’s.Two aprons, one home / sewing dec and one actual garment pattern. I so rarely buy clothing patterns from the Big Four because I have my BWOF. But, I loooove aprons and want to do some decorating.

Great pattern buys. Curious about the Go Green one. Must check it out :)

Now, dangit, why didn’t I know about the 99 cent pattern sale? Oh, well, since the kids were home for Easter, I wouldn’t have gone anyway. Still.

I like that apron pattern. Gaylen just sent me my first apron ever, and I wore it like there’s no tomorrow this weekend. It’s better than tucking a dish towel in my neckline, and another in the waistband, don’t you think?

And I really need to get hopping on the drapes I’ve never concluded for my family room. Show us your progress, please, so I’ll be jealous and get off my lazy duff. Pleeeezzze?

That dress pattern has been intriguing me. Can you believe that I ran into Joann on Thursday for a pillow form, and I didn’t realize until I got home that they had Simplicity for 99c! I considered going back, but after looking at the website, I came to the same conclusion as you – “I have my BWOF”….

I can’t wait to read your review. I’ve been looking at that shirt, but have been wary of the ridiculous factor. Or maybe just the ‘ridiculous on me’ factor. I have this problem with choosing patterns that aren’t my actual style.

I don’t comment much, but I really love your blog!
