Like an idiot, I’ve signed up for a charity dragon boat race. As both my mom, my BFF Julia and the cop have pointed out, I really just don’t have time. But, I figured it’s good exercise and a decent way to bond with my co-workers.

We’re going to be wearing standard issue tees, but it got me thinking about the Olympics’ opening ceremony. I had bookclub that night and forgot to tivo, but from what I’ve seen, the Dutch have my favorite outfit. Love the white piping and the gray and orange. Could have been a little 70s, but it totally works for me.

So, please tell me what I missed. Is there an outfit I should check out? Angola had a gorgeous fabric, but I can’t seem to find a decent photos online. So, what were your favorite Olympic opening ceremony costumes?
