So, I’m in Miami overnight since I missed by connection to Baltimore because my flight from Panama was an hour late.

While happy that I’m at the Wyndham, am angry beyond measure that no hotel shuttle came after I waited outside for two hours. I finally just got a cab here.

But, thank God for small mercies. I’m watching the Obama acceptance speech. Which I wouldn’t have seen if I made my flight. I honestly never thought the day would come when a black man was a viable candidate for POTUS. It’s something to behold.

Also, as a former speechwriter, I am in awe of his oratory skills. Do you know how fantastic it must be to write for him? Ok. Gotta go, Obama is bringing it tonight and I don’t want to miss a thing.
