Thanks to Twisted Angel for scanning the slopers files below several years ago. I noticed her website is down and I’ve sent her a PM on PatternReview to make sure it’s okay to repost her files.

  2. Just received my Aug/Sept 2011 Sew News

There is a featured skirt that was MADE FOR YOU.
    Kwik Sew 2957

I’ll be anxious to see your version. I thought of you as soon as I saw the picture.

  3. Hello Miss Celie!

I saw somewhere, please don’t ask me exactly where I saw, an adorable pink print fabric that I would absolutely LOVE to incorporate into a quilt that I am making. I hope my description ot it can bring it to your mind. It’s pink with little Black girls playing hopscotch, jump rope and other outdoor fun. I’m a retired person and amature quilter just having a lot of fun. I am making a quilt of little Black girls and that fabric would be the most perfect fabric that I could use to go into my quilt. Could you PLEASE tell me where you got it, if you still have it and would you like to sell it to me. I think I read that you originally bought it at JoAnn’s Fabric Store. I live in California and we have JoAnn’s here but no one in the store seems to know how to help me find that particular fabric. I got so excited when I saw it on the web and have been in “hot persuit” of it ever since. If you are interested, I can send you a picture of my completed quilt when it’s done. Thank you!

  4. Hi Cidell. I had written Sigrid about English instructions for the Sewy Rebecca bra pattern and she mentioned that she thought you might have the translated instructions. Would it be possible for you to email them to me? I have taken a class and made one bra but hated the pattern. This pattern looks just like one that I bought at Nordstrom’s by Chantelle and paid way more than I’d like for. I’d love to order the pattern from the Sewy site but am a little anxious about not being able to read the directions. If you could help it would be really appreciated. Thanks.

  5. Very, very interested in the prospect of a machine knitting group!! Great idea. I’m local in Silver Spring. Couldn’t be more frustrated by the total lack of local resources and comraderie. Hope we can get something going.

    • Terrific! We’ve gotten a lot of responses with a pretty even split between the DC suburbs and Baltimore. But, we’ll definitely keep you posted!
